Cindy Vattathil, a Bohemian mother of three from Houston, Texas, has been saving scraps of paper her whole life. Little did she know they would serve as a channel for her artistic voice. Like Matisse, she has found a youthful happiness when "painting with scissors," and prefers the medium of collage to her old acrylic paints.

 

As a self-taught artist, she has been creating in various mediums since 1998. Since that time she has curated and organized many solo art exhibitions, had work published in various forms of print media, and created a couple of children's picture books.

 

While there are many projects currently in the pipeline, her favorite jobs are always the commissions she is able to create for private buyers. Bringing a smile to someone's face with her art is the ultimate goal.
